Steve Rak is the owner of Southwest Landscape Management based in Columbia Station, Ohio. Southwest Landscape Management is a mid size commercial landscape maintenance and snow and ice management company. With over 20 years experience running the day to day operations of the business, he has been responsible for growing the company to over $1 million in sales.
In addition to his responsibilities at Southwest, Steve enjoys sharing the knowledge that he has gained over the years of running his business. He has spoken at many conferences and workshops throughout the United States and Canada.
Accomplishments
Steve is a past president of The Ohio Landscape Association and has appeared in and written for many trade publications including; Lawn & Landscape Magazine, Landscape Management Magazine, Properties Magazine, The Growing Concern and had written an award winning monthly column for Turf Magazine.
Steve attended Cuyahoga Community College and studied business and music. Several years ago Steve and his brother Jeff started Rak Consulting which focuses on smaller companies and helps them grow to the next level.
