The Soft Opening of The Scapers Network Blog

So here is the deal, I’m calling this the friends and family soft opening of my Blog. Lucky lucky you right? I know, well just calm down because I’m mostly going to be writing about business stuff, primarily landscape business stuff. But sometimes I’m just going to write whatever I feel like writing. Thats what I’m going to do today, so you can stick around for this one. After this one then you can just scroll on by if you dont like it. It wont hurt my feelings, I promise.

Anyway, I figured now would be a good time to get this party started with the blog. I mean what better time than this to add more minutiae into the social media universe? Everyone is sitting around in their PJ’s pretending to be interested in the latest Zoom meeting. Working form home is now the new norm and the slow burn of depression and sheer boredom is causing us all to binge watch Netflix like it’s some kind of messiah waiting to take us to the promised land. So we have a few issues in this country, nothing a good blog about the landscape business can fix but alas, I’m gonna try anyway. Just so you know, I will be using words like “alas” from time to time, you have been warned.

If you have read this far you are probably thinking something like, hey get to the point already. Okay I will give that a shot. The point is that writing for me is cathartic. That’s really just the point. Over the years I have written for various publications, most of them within the landscape industry. You will see that the name of my blog is The Scapers Network, still geared toward the landscape industry. If you end up at The Scapers Network Blog site you will see I also have YouTube videos posted. These will be really boring unless you happen to own a landscape business but if you want to watch them anyway have at it.

Bottom line here is that I am giving this a shot. I am hoping that I can have a bit more of an open canvas here than I have in the past. While my audience will primarily be other landscape business owners I am hoping to eventually branch out and become a platform for all businesses and perhaps personal things that are important to me as well. Until then, thanks for reading. Let me know your thoughts. Now get back to that Zoom meeting!
